In this exciting key position, you will manage a department with a team of proven Area Sales Managers. Working closely with the Vice President International Sales, you will coordinate global sales activities in existing and new markets. Together with your team, you will support and develop our sales partners (distributors), thereby making a significant contribution to achieving our sales and profit targets and implementing our growth strategy. You will benefit from our informal working atmosphere, short decision-making processes and maintain close contact with the management.

Director International Partner Management (m/f/d)
  • Definition of a sales strategy based on the strategic objectives
  • Active participation in the development of existing and new markets
  • Participation in challenging negotiations with end customers
  • Ensuring effective and efficient partner management
  • Development of sales targets and contractual agreements 
  • Collaboration in the development of key accounts & key oppinion leaders
  • Market monitoring and reporting, planning and conducting business and market reviews
  • Participation in trade fairs and congresses, collaboration in the planning of local events
  • To fulfill the above tasks, you will work closely with your team, Marketing, Product Management, Service, Clinical Research and other departments
  • Responsibility for your own sales region and management of local partners
  • Management and coaching of the six-members sales team

  • Technical or business management education with a focus on sales and marketing
  • Several years of experience in the medtech industry and in sales management (capital goods) via distributors
  • Knowledge or strong interest in ophthalmology
  • Doer and entrepreneurial qualities
  • Analytical and structured way of working
  • High social competence, passion for team leadership and intercultural cooperation
  • Enthusiastic, winning personality
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German all other languages will be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40 percent of your working time
