In this varied position, you will support our production team in the professional assembly and testing of our laser systems. You will actively participate in the pre-assembly of components and the final assembly of complete optical systems, ensuring compliance with our high quality standards through test runs and final inspections. In addition, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our assembly processes and make valuable contributions to the optimization and further development of our production.

Specialist for assembly of high-tech medical devices

Tasks

  • Independent assembly of complete laser systems and associated service components for eye surgery (assemblies, peripherals, etc.)
  • Logging of individual work steps and measurements
  • Performing optical, mechanical, and electronic tests in accordance with quality guidelines and processes
  • Collaborating on the improvement and optimization of production and assembly processes

Profile

  • Completed basic training as an automation engineer, electrical engineer, polymechanic, or similar
  • Ideally, experience in the assembly of mechatronic or precision engineering systems
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, ideally experience in using Excel-based technical software
  • High quality awareness, quick comprehension, manual dexterity, precise and accurate working methods, initiative, resilience, perseverance, and flexibility
  • Written and spoken German, English, and French are an advantage
