In this role, you will ensure the high-quality manufacture and final inspection of our sterile ophthalmic implants in the cleanroom. You will work according to defined process steps, adhere to the highest quality and cleanliness standards, and contribute significantly to stable production and complete traceability through your diligence.

Cleanroom Production Operator Lens Manufacturing
  • Performing defined manufacturing steps in the cleanroom in accordance with SOPs and work instructions (without mechanical processing), ensuring correct handling, process discipline, and contamination control
  • Preparing workstations, materials, and operating resources
  • Final inspection of products according to specified criteria using a microscope or illumination tools
  • Complete and accurate batch and process documentation (paper and/or digital)
  • Correct labeling, separation, and forwarding of non-compliant products
  • Collaboration in deviation and error analyses
  • Active participation in continuous improvements (e.g., 5S, standardization)
  • Assistance with cleanroom maintenance
  • Compliance with all health, safety, and cleanroom regulations

  • Experience in a cleanroom or regulated production environment, ideally in the medtech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Very high quality awareness/sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Enjoyment of precise, repetitive tasks
  • Good eyesight and fine motor skills
  • Confident handling of work instructions and documentation
  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility in terms of working hours during peak periods
  • Basic IT skills
  • Good English skills, German and French are an advantage
