To ensure the reliable and compliant manufacturing of high-precision ophthalmic sterile implants by operating and monitoring Optoform machining processes in a controlled cleanroom environment. The role is responsible for maintaining stable and repeatable production performance, executing production and testing processes with the highest standards of accuracy and cleanliness, preparing process materials and solutions, and ensuring full compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements (MDR).

Cleanroom & Machining Operator Lens Manufactoring 80-100%
  • Operation of Optoform machining System according to defined process parameters
  • Preparation and setup support of machining programs under supervision
  • Monitoring of critical machining parameters and surface quality
  • First level troubleshooting of machining deviations
  • Production work on medical device products under clean room conditions
  • Visual & quality inspections with microscope, measuring and testing equipment
  • Primary and final packaging of medical products
  • Documentation of production processes
  • Assistance with clean room maintenance

  • Technical apprenticeship in mechanics, precision engineering or similar
  • Experience in precision machining and/or CNC manufacturing 
  • Familiar with working in cleanroom or process-controlled production environments
  • Confident in reading technical drawings and working with tight tolerances
  • Skilled in handling micro-components, high manual dexterity and good eyesight
  • Structured, reliable, and able to work independently according to SOPs
  • Analytical mindset and hands-on problem-solving attitude
  • Team player with a flexible and hands-on mindset
  • Basic PC skills, ERP and digital experience is an advantage
  • Good English skills, German and/or French is an advantage
